     Captain William Victor Marno was born on 26 November 1925. He is the son of Captain Cajetan Louis Victor Marno and Anne Christian Seymour. He married, firstly, Daphne Christobel Jones, daughter of Douglas Doyle Jones, on 15 July 1952. He and Daphne Christobel Jones were divorced in 1968. He married, secondly, Hazel Dorothy Westley in 1969. He and Hazel Dorothy Westley were divorced in 1979. He married, thirdly, Claire Linette Mordaunt in 1983.

     Daphne Christobel Jones is the daughter of Douglas Doyle Jones. She married Captain William Victor Marno, son of Captain Cajetan Louis Victor Marno and Anne Christian Seymour, on 15 July 1952. She and Captain William Victor Marno were divorced in 1968.
     Her married name became Marno.
