Gerald Henry Hobert Culme-Seymour was born on 8 April 1914.1 He was the son of Commander Evelyn Culme-Seymour and Laura Maud Amy Macnaughton.1 He married, firstly, Constance Helen Street, daughter of Alfred Rendell Street and Emily Sophia Dashwood, on 4 February 1939.1 He married, secondly, Patricia Mary Hewetson, daughter of Edward Pearson Hewetson, on 15 October 1960.2 He died on 10 October 1973 at age 59 at Churchill Hospital, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.2,3
     He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.1
