     Laura Maud Amy Macnaughton was born on 5 September 1880. She was the daughter of Sir Steuart Macnaughton.¹ She married Commander Evelyn Culme-Seymour, son of Major Henry Hobart Culme-Seymour and Kate Lucy, on 29 May 1908.¹ She died on 23 September 1958 at age 78.¹
      Her married name became Culme-Seymour.

     Sir Steuart Macnaughton was born on 20 June 1815. He died on 28 June 1895 at age 80.
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).¹ He lived at Bitterne Manor, Hampshire, England.

     Major Henry Hobart Culme-Seymour was born on 5 April 1847.¹ He was the son of Rev. Sir John Hobart Culme-Seymour, 2nd Bt. and Maria Louisa Smith.¹ He married Kate Lucy, daughter of William Charles Lucy, on 24 September 1878.¹ He died on 3 February 1920 at age 72.¹
     He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).¹ He gained the rank of Major in the service of the 4th Battalion, Bedfordshire Regiment.¹ He held the office of Member of the Hampshire County Council.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hampshire.¹

     Kate Lucy was the daughter of William Charles Lucy.¹ She married Major Henry Hobart Culme-Seymour, son of Rev. Sir John Hobart Culme-Seymour, 2nd Bt. and Maria Louisa Smith, on 24 September 1878.¹ She died on 10 January 1931.¹
      Her married name became Culme-Seymour.

     William Charles Lucy was invested as a Fellow, Geographical Society (F.G.S.).¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).¹

     Rev. Sir John Hobart Culme-Seymour, 2nd Bt. was born on 24 March 1800.¹ He was the son of Admiral Sir Michael Seymour, 1st Bt. and Jane Hawker.² He married, firstly, Elizabeth Culme, daughter of Reverend Thomas Culme, on 12 April 1833.¹ He married, secondly, Maria Louisa Smith, daughter of Charles Smith and Augusta Smith, on 10 February 1844.¹ He died on 17 September 1880 at age 80.¹
     He was given the name of John Hobart Seymour at birth.³ He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Seymour, of High Mount, co. Limerick [U.K., 1809] on 9 July 1834.³ On 6 May 1842 his name was legally changed to John Hobart Culme-Seymour by Royal Licence.¹ He was the Rector at Berkhampstead St. Mary, Hertfordshire, England.¹ He was the Rector at Northchurch, Hertfordshire, England.¹ He held the office of Prebendary of Lincoln.¹ He held the office of Canon of Gloucester.¹ He held the office of Chaplain-in-Ordinary to HM Queen Victoria.¹

     Maria Louisa Smith was the daughter of Charles Smith and Augusta Smith.¹ She married Rev. Sir John Hobart Culme-Seymour, 2nd Bt., son of Admiral Sir Michael Seymour, 1st Bt. and Jane Hawker, on 10 February 1844.¹ She died on 24 July 1887.¹
      Her married name became Seymour.

     Sir Charles Joshua Smith, 2nd Bt. was born on 31 May 1800.¹ He was the son of Charles Smith and Augusta Smith. He married, firstly, Belinda Colebrooke, daughter of George Colebrooke, on 28 October 1823.¹ He married, secondly, Mary Gosling, daughter of William Gosling, on 2 July 1826.¹ He died on 14 January 1831 at age 30.¹
     He gained the title of 2nd Baronet Smith.

     Elizabeth Culme was the daughter of Reverend Thomas Culme.¹ She married Rev. Sir John Hobart Culme-Seymour, 2nd Bt., son of Admiral Sir Michael Seymour, 1st Bt. and Jane Hawker, on 12 April 1833.¹ She died on 6 March 1841.¹
      Her married name became Seymour.

     Reverend Thomas Culme lived at Tothill, Devon, England.¹
