He married Lady Barbara Ann Bootle-Wilbraham, daughter of Edward George Bootle-Wilbraham, 2nd Earl of Lathom and Lady Wilma Pleydell-Bouverie, on 21 December 1914. He died on 30 July 1915 at age 29, killed in action.
     Francis Seymour fought in the First World War.
