Anne Rosemary Trench was born on 19 December 1936.1 She is the daughter of Dudley Oliver Trench, 5th Baron Ashtown and Ellen Nancy Garton.1 She married, firstly, Captain Timothy Patrick Arnold Gosselin, son of Brigadier Arthur Nicholas Gosselin, on 1 October 1958.1 She married, secondly, Major Greville Wyndham Tufnell, son of Major Kenneth Edward Mortimer Tufnell, on 2 March 1962.1
     From 1 October 1958, her married name became Gosselin.1 From 2 March 1962, her married name became Tufnell.1
