     Lt. Hon. Barry Charles Yelverton was born on 21 November 1814 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He was the son of Barry John Yelverton, 3rd Viscount Avonmore and Jane Boothe.1 He died on 11 January 1853 at age 38 at Hangle Park, County Mayo, Ireland, unmarried.1
     Lt. Hon. Barry Charles Yelverton gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 79th Foot.1

     George Lionel Yuill Seymour Dawson-Damer, 7th Earl of Portarlington was born on 10 August 1938. He is the son of A/Cdre George Lionel Seymour Dawson-Damer, Viscount Carlow and Peggy Cambie. He married Davinia Windley, daughter of Sir Edward Henry Windley and Patience Ann Sergison-Brooke, on 26 July 1961.
     George Lionel Yuill Seymour Dawson-Damer, 7th Earl of Portarlington succeeded to the title of 8th Viscount Carlow, co. Carlow [I., 1776] on 4 July 1959. He succeeded to the title of 8th Lord Dawson, Baron Dawson of Dawson's Court, in the Queen's County [I., 1770] on 4 July 1959. He succeeded to the title of 7th Earl of Portarlington, in the Queen's County [I., 1785] on 4 July 1959.

     Sir Edward Henry Windley was born on 10 March 1909. He was the son of Edward Crosland Windley and Florence de Toustain, Vicomtesse de Toustain.1 He married Patience Ann Sergison-Brooke, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir Bertram Norman Sergison-Brooke and Prudence Ida Evelyn Sergison, on 29 March 1939.1 He died on 5 January 1972 at age 62 at Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, killed in an air crash.1
     Sir Edward Henry Windley was invested as a Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.).1 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.).1

     Lt.-Gen. Sir Bertram Norman Sergison-Brooke was born on 20 July 1880.2 He was the son of Arthur Basil Brooke and Alice Georgina Norton.2 He married, firstly, Prudence Ida Evelyn Sergison, daughter of Captain Charles Warden Sergison and Hon. Florence Emma Louise Hanbury-Tracy, on 8 July 1915.2 He married, secondly, Hilda Fenwick, daughter of Mark Fenwick, on 2 June 1923.2
     Lt.-Gen. Sir Bertram Norman Sergison-Brooke was baptised with the name of Bertram Norman Brooke.2 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.2 He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded and mentioned in despatches.2 On 30 September 1915 his name was legally changed to Bertram Norman Sergison-Brooke by Royal Licence.2 He was decorated with the Legion of Honour.2 He was decorated with the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).1 He was decorated with the Order of the Crown of Belgium.2 He was invested as a Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1919.2 He was invested as a Knight, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.St.J.).2 He was Temporary Brigadier of the 1st Infantry Brigade between 1928 and 1931.2 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1937.2 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1942.2
