     Desmond Arthur Peter Leslie was born on 29 June 1921. He was the son of Sir John Randolph Shane Leslie, 3rd Bt. and Majorie Ide.1 He married Agnes Elizabeth Bernauer, daughter of Rudolf Bernauer, on 18 August 1945. He died before 20 March 2001.2
