     Lt.-Col. Sir Reginald Henry Seymour was born on 1 August 1878. He was the son of Sir George Evelyn Seymour and Evelyn Elizabeth Campbell. He married, firstly, Winifred Akroyd, daughter of John Bathurst Akroyd, on 17 July 1922. He married, secondly, Lady Katharine Hamilton, daughter of Sir James Albert Edward Hamilton, 3rd Duke of Abercorn and Lady Rosaline Cecilia Caroline Bingham, on 6 August 1930.1 He died on 2 October 1938 at age 60.1
     Lt.-Col. Sir Reginald Henry Seymour was invested as a Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.).1
