     Hugh De Burgh Warwick Bampfylde, 6th Baron Poltimore was born on 25 March 1888.1 He was the son of Coplestone Richard George Warwick Bampfylde, 3rd Baron Poltimore and Hon. Margaret Harriet Beaumont. He married Margaret Mary Ducarel de la Pasture, daughter of Gerard Gustavus Ducarel de la Pasture, 4th Marquis de la Pasture, on 12 August 1918.1 He died on 26 March 1978 at age 90.1
     He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1910 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Major in the King's African Rifles.1 He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1918 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He held the office of County Councillor (C.C.) of Wiltshire between 1937 and 1945.1 He succeeded as the 11th Baronet Bamfylde, of Poltimore, co. Devon [E., 1641] on 10 June 1967.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baron Poltimore, of co. Devon [U.K., 1831] on 10 June 1967.1

     Margaret Mary Ducarel de la Pasture was born in 1884.1 She was the daughter of Gerard Gustavus Ducarel de la Pasture, 4th Marquis de la Pasture.2 She married, firstly, Hugh De Burgh Warwick Bampfylde, 6th Baron Poltimore, son of Coplestone Richard George Warwick Bampfylde, 3rd Baron Poltimore and Hon. Margaret Harriet Beaumont, on 12 August 1918.1 She died on 29 December 1981.1
     From 12 August 1918, her married name became Bampfylde.1 After her marriage, Margaret Mary Ducarel de la Pasture was styled as Baroness Poltimore on 10 June 1967.

Anthony Gerard Hugh Bampfylde was born on 2 January 1920.1 He was the son of Hugh De Burgh Warwick Bampfylde, 6th Baron Poltimore and Margaret Mary Ducarel de la Pasture.2 He married Brita Yvonne Cederström, daughter of Rolf Cederström, Baron Cederström and Hon. Hermione Frances Caroline Fellowes, on 25 October 1947.1 He died on 2 January 1969 at age 49.1
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1945, he was a Prisoner of War (P.O.W.)1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Rifle Brigade.1
