Maj.-Gen. Edmund Manningham Manningham-Buller was born on 11 June 1828.2 He was the son of Sir Edward Manningham-Buller, 1st Bt. and Mary Anne Manningham.2 He married Lady Anne Coke, daughter of Thomas William Coke, 2nd Earl of Leicester of Holkham and Juliana Whitbread, on 16 January 1874.1 He died on 14 February 1897 at age 68.2
Maj.-Gen. Edmund Manningham Manningham-Buller was baptised with the name of Edmund Manningham Buller-Yarde-Buller. On 1866 his name was legally changed to Edmund Manningham Manningham-Buller. He gained the rank of Major-General in the service of the 1st Battalion, Rifle Brigade.2

Coote Manningham, on 12 August 1824.3 He married, secondly, Georgina Charlotte Nugent, daughter of Admiral Sir Charles Edmund Nugent, on 2 June 1863.3
