     David Alfred Acland was born on 21 October 1929.¹ He is the son of Lt.-Col. Arthur William Acland and Violet Gwendolen Grimston.¹ He married Serena Elizabeth Kleinwort, daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Sir Cyril Hugh Kleinwort and Elisabeth Kathleen Forde, on 19 October 1960.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Gloucestershire.¹ He was chief executive of WH Smith in 1974.¹ He lived in 1999 at The Manor, Notgrove, Gloucestershire, England.¹

     Serena Elizabeth Kleinwort was born on 31 March 1936. She is the daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Sir Cyril Hugh Kleinwort and Elisabeth Kathleen Forde.¹ She married David Alfred Acland, son of Lt.-Col. Arthur William Acland and Violet Gwendolen Grimston, on 19 October 1960.¹
      Her married name became Acland.

     Lt.-Cdr. Sir Cyril Hugh Kleinwort was born on 17 August 1905. He is the son of Sir Alexander Drake Kleinwort, 1st Bt. and Etienette Girard. He married Elisabeth Kathleen Forde, daughter of Francis Forde, on 8 September 1933.
     He lived at Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire, England.

     Elisabeth Kathleen Forde is the daughter of Francis Forde. She married Lt.-Cdr. Sir Cyril Hugh Kleinwort, son of Sir Alexander Drake Kleinwort, 1st Bt. and Etienette Girard, on 8 September 1933.
      Her married name became Kleinwort.

     Francis Forde lived at Budds Farm, Newbury, Berkshire, England.

     Charlotte Susannah Kleinwort was born on 16 June 1938. She is the daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Sir Cyril Hugh Kleinwort and Elisabeth Kathleen Forde.² She married, firstly, Richard Lawrence Baillieu, son of Marshall Lawrence Baillieu and Nancy Elizabeth Willsallen, on 15 May 1965.¹ She and Richard Lawrence Baillieu were divorced before 1973.³ She married, secondly, Nevile Martin Gwynne, son of Major John Nevile Wake Gwynne and Patrica Louisa Morrison-Bell, on 12 November 1973.³ She married, thirdly, Alan Cyril Heber-Percy, son of Cyril Hugh Reginald Heber-Percy and Anne Garland, in 1980.⁴ She and Nevile Martin Gwynne were divorced.⁵
      From 15 May 1965, her married name became Baillieu.¹ From November 1972, her married name became Gwynne. From 12 November 1973, her married name became Gwynne.³ From 1980, her married name became Heber-Percy.⁴

     Susanna Kleinwort was born on 3 January 1942. She is the daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Sir Cyril Hugh Kleinwort and Elisabeth Kathleen Forde.² She married David Alphy Edward Raymond Peake, son of Sir Harald Peake and Resy de Baillet-Latour, on 22 November 1962.³
      From 22 November 1962, her married name became Peake.¹

     Sir Alexander Drake Kleinwort, 1st Bt. was born on 17 October 1858.¹ He was the son of Alexander Frederick Henry Kleinwort and Sophia Charlotte Greverus.^2,3 He married Etienette Girard, daughter of Etienne Girard, on 30 April 1889.¹ He died on 8 June 1935 at age 76.¹
     He gained the title of 1st Baronet Kleinwort. He was ptnr Kleinwort Sons & Co, merchant bankers, chairman N Br and Mercantile Insur.¹ On 29 November 1909 so created.¹

     Etienette Girard was the daughter of Etienne Girard.² She married Sir Alexander Drake Kleinwort, 1st Bt., son of Alexander Frederick Henry Kleinwort and Sophia Charlotte Greverus, on 30 April 1889.¹ She died on 8 August 1946.¹
      Her married name became Kleinwort.

     Etienne Girard was Belgian Consul to Louisville, Kentucy.¹ He lived at Haywards Heath, Sussex, England.¹
