     Peter Guy Henry Thorold was born on 20 April 1930.2 He is the son of Sir Guy Frederick Thorold and Mary Wilder Wynnatt-Hussey.2 He married, firstly, Merilyn Mary Reynolds, daughter of Sir John Francis Roskell Reynolds, 2nd Bt. and Eleanor Constance Holford, on 21 December 1954.2 He and Merilyn Mary Reynolds were divorced in 1963.1 He married, secondly, Anne Fender, daughter of Robert Evelyn Herbert Fender, on 26 June 1964.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1953 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He lived in 2003 at 25 Stanley Crescent, London, England.2

     Sir John Phillips Rhodes, 2nd Bt. was born on 19 July 1884.1 He is the son of Sir George Wood Rhodes, 1st Bt. and Margaret Catherine Phillips.2 He married, firstly, Elsie Constance Buckley, daughter of Lt.-Col. George Alexander Maclean Buckley, on 28 July 1913.1 He and Elsie Constance Buckley were divorced in 1926.1 He married, secondly, Doris Mary Adams, daughter of William Henry Adams, on 28 September 1926.1 He died on 14 November 1955 at age 71.1
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, England.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was awarded the Croix de Guerre.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Reserve of Officers, Royal Engineers.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)      Commander Philip Wood Rhodes was born on 28 November 1894.1 He was the son of Sir George Wood Rhodes, 1st Bt. and Margaret Catherine Phillips.2 He married, firstly, Judith Beresford Martin, daughter of Trevelyan Martin, on 15 May 1919.1 He married, secondly, Elspeth Tod, daughter of Thomas Tod, on 12 July 1944.1 He died on 2 January 1956 at age 61.1
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1
