     Catherine Hodgson Gilbert was born before 9 November 1777 at Constantine, Cornwall, England.2 She was the daughter of Reverend Edmund Gilbert and Anne Garnet.3,2 She married Sir Walter Roberts, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Thomas Roberts, 1st Bt. and Amy Johnson, on 8 February 1800.1 She died on 4 August 1853.1
     From 8 February 1800, her married name became Roberts.

     Sir Thomas Howland Roberts, 3rd Bt. was born on 4 November 1804.1 He is the son of Sir Walter Roberts, 2nd Bt. and Catherine Hodgson Gilbert.2 He married, firstly, Eliza Caroline Maitland, daughter of J. B. Maitland, on 30 October 1834.1 He married, secondly, Anne Elliott Langdon, daughter of Commander William Langdon, on 14 June 1842.2 He died on 1 March 1864 at age 59.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Roberts, of Glassenbury Kent, of Brightfieldstown, co. Cork and of the City of Cork [U.K., 1809] on 9 December 1828.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Cork in 1837.1

     Reverend Edmund Gilbert Roberts was born on 8 December 1810.1 He was the son of Sir Walter Roberts, 2nd Bt. and Catherine Hodgson Gilbert.2 He married Elizabeth Anne Joyce, daughter of Major unknown Joyce, on 12 July 1836.1 He died in March 1856 at age 45.1
     He was Rector at Paul's Cray, Kent, England.1 He was Rector at Glanville Wootton, Dorset, England.1 He graduated with a Bachelor of Divinity (B.D.)1

     Thomas Langdon Roberts was born on 17 April 1840.1 He was the son of Reverend Edmund Gilbert Roberts and Elizabeth Anne Joyce.2 He married Emily Moor, daughter of Thomas Moor, on 21 February 1862.1 He died on 29 May 1904 at age 64, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the London Irish Rifles.1
