     From 29 December 1921, her married name became Pipon.

     Vice-Admiral Sir James Murray Pipon was born on 25 October 1882.2 He was the son of Captain John Pakenham Pipon and Alice Elizabeth Johnson.3,4 He married Hon. Bertha Louisa Victoria Lopes, daughter of Henry Yarde-Buller Lopes, 1st Baron Roborough and Lady Alberta Louise Florence Edgcumbe, on 29 December 1921.1 He died on 14 January 1971 at age 88 at Tavistock, Devon, England.1,4
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.)1 He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.)1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)1 He gained the rank of Vice-Admiral in the Royal Navy.1
