     Robert Shaw was born in 1698.1 He was the son of Richard Shaw and Judith Briscoe.2 He married Mary Markham, daughter of Bernard Markham, in 1736.1 He died in 1758.1

     He lived at Kilkenny, County Kilkenny, Ireland.1

     Reverend Edward Carr was born circa 1750 at Kilmacow, County Kilkenny, Ireland.2 He was the son of Dr. Thomas Carr and unknown daughter Whitmore.2 He married Sarah Forster, daughter of George Forster, in January 1773.2 He died on 2 January 1815 at New Ross, County Wexford, Ireland.2
     He graduated from Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1770 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He was Master at New Ross Endowed School, New Ross, County Wexford, Ireland.2 He was Rector at Kilmacow, County Kilkenny, Ireland.2

     Frances Carr was born circa 1777 at Terenure, County Dublin, Ireland.2 She was the daughter of Reverend Edward Carr and Sarah Forster.3,2 She married Bernard Shaw, son of William Shaw and Esther English, on 1 April 1801 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1,2 She died on 9 May 1871.2
     From 1 April 1801, her married name became Shaw.
