     Lavinia Willows was baptised on 25 May 1834 at Paris, France.2 She was the daughter of Major Jeffery Amherst Willows and Eliza (?)3,2 She married Lt.-Col. Edward Simeon, son of Rear-Admiral Charles Simeon and Frances Woore, in 1860.1 She died in 1919.1
     From 1860, her married name became Simeon.

     Edward Archibald Simeon was born in 1860.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Edward Simeon and Lavinia Willows.2 He married Rose Beaumont Eddowes, daughter of Charles Eddowes, in 1888.1 He died on 15 December 1930.1
     He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Physicians, London (L.R.C.P.)1 He was registered as a Member, Royal College of Surgeons (M.R.C.S.)1

Vice-Admiral Sir Charles Edward Barrington Simeon1

     Vice-Admiral Sir Charles Edward Barrington Simeon was born on 24 December 1889.1 He was the son of Edward Archibald Simeon and Rose Beaumont Eddowes.2 He married Gladys Arkle, daughter of Benjamin Arkle, on 31 July 1918.1 He died on 16 November 1955 at age 65.1
     He fought in the First World War.1 He was Director of Naval Ordnance, Admiralty between 1936 and 1939.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches.1 He was commander of the H.M.S. Renown between 1939 and 1941.1 He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM King George VI in 1940.1 He was Deputy Controller, Admiralty between 1941 and 1946.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1943.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1945.1 He was awarded the Grand Officer, Order of Orange Nassau of the Netherlands.1

     Gladys Arkle was the daughter of Benjamin Arkle.2 She married Vice-Admiral Sir Charles Edward Barrington Simeon, son of Edward Archibald Simeon and Rose Beaumont Eddowes, on 31 July 1918.1 She died in 1983.1
     From 31 July 1918, her married name became Simeon.

     John Edward Simeon was born on 18 January 1921.1 He was the son of Vice-Admiral Sir Charles Edward Barrington Simeon and Gladys Arkle.2 He died on 28 May 1942 at age 21 at Libya, killed in action.1
     He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Rifle Brigade.1

     Hugh Michael Simeon was born on 1 November 1926.1 He is the son of Vice-Admiral Sir Charles Edward Barrington Simeon and Gladys Arkle.2 He married Ilona Maria Schimert, daughter of Professor Dr. Med Gustav Schimert, on 16 April 1966.1
     Hugh Michael Simeon usually went by his middle name of Michael.1 He was educated at Royal Naval College, Darmouth, Devon, England.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He retired from the military in 1963, with the rank of Commander, late of the Royal Navy.1 He graduated from Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, U.S.A., in 1965 with a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.)1 He was Vice-President of Amax Inc at New York, U.S.A.1 He lived in 2003 at 8 Steeple Top Road, Rowayton, Connecticut, U.S.A.1
