     Sir Charles Norris Nicholson, 1st Bt. was born on 30 July 1857. He was the son of William Noris Nicholson. He married Amy Letitia Crosfield, daughter of George Crosfield and Isabella Ashworth, on 26 January 1882.¹ He died on 28 November 1918 at age 61.
     Sir Charles Norris Nicholson, 1st Bt. gained the title of 1st Baronet Nicholson.

     Donald Swinton Campbell, 2nd Baron Colgrain was born on 6 November 1891.³ He was the son of Colin Frederick Campbell, 1st Baron Colgrain and Lady Angela Mary Alice Ryder.² He married Margaret Emily Carver, daughter of Percy William Carver, on 1 August 1917.⁴ He died on 20 October 1973 at age 81.⁴
     Donald Swinton Campbell, 2nd Baron Colgrain was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.⁴ He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.⁴ He gained the rank of officer in the service of the 10th Battalion, The Buffs.⁴ He fought in the First World War.⁴ He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the West Kent Yeomanry (Territorial Forces).⁴ He was decorated with the award of Military Cross (M.C.) in 1917.⁴ He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal West Kent Regiment and Home Guard.⁴ He fought in the Second World War.⁴ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Kent in 1942.⁴ He was a dirctor of Forbes, Forbes and Campbell, India, and London Produce Clearing House.⁴ He was a director of the National Overseas and Grindlays Bank Ltd.⁴ He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baron Colgrain, of Everlands, co. Kent [U.K., 1946] on 3 November 1954.⁴ He was chairman of Grindlays Bank.⁴

     F/O John Lambton was born on 31 July 1909.¹ He was the son of Hon. George Lambton and Cicely Margaret Horner. He married Ethel Ruth Nicholson, daughter of Captain William Henry Nicholson and Sibyl Wigham, on 15 March 1934.¹ He died on 11 August 1941 at age 32, killed while on active service.¹
     F/O John Lambton fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Flying Officer in the service of the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the service of the Coldstream Guards.¹

     Anne Lees is the daughter of Colonel Lawrence Lees.¹ She married, firstly, David Rawnsley.¹ She married, secondly, Captain Edward George Lambton, son of Hon. George Lambton and Cicely Margaret Horner, on 24 November 1949.¹ She and Captain Edward George Lambton were divorced in 1959.¹
     Her married name became Rawnsley.¹ Her married name became Lambton.

     Cicely Margaret Horner is the daughter of Sir John Francis Fortescue Horner and Frances Graham.^1,2 She married Hon. George Lambton, son of George Frederick D'Arcy Lambton, 2nd Earl of Durham and Lady Beatrix Frances Hamilton, on 7 December 1908.¹
     Her married name became Lambton.
