     Donald Swinton Campbell, 2nd Baron Colgrain was born on 6 November 1891.3 He was the son of Colin Frederick Campbell, 1st Baron Colgrain and Lady Angela Mary Alice Ryder.2 He married Margaret Emily Carver, daughter of Percy William Carver, on 1 August 1917.4 He died on 20 October 1973 at age 81.4
     Donald Swinton Campbell, 2nd Baron Colgrain was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.4 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.4 He gained the rank of officer in the service of the 10th Battalion, The Buffs.4 He fought in the First World War.4 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the West Kent Yeomanry (Territorial Forces).4 He was decorated with the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1917.4 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal West Kent Regiment and Home Guard.4 He fought in the Second World War.4 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Kent in 1942.4 He was a dirctor of Forbes, Forbes and Campbell, India, and London Produce Clearing House.4 He was a director of the National Overseas and Grindlays Bank Ltd.4 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baron Colgrain, of Everlands, co.      F/O John Lambton was born on 31 July 1909.1 He was the son of Hon. George Lambton and Cicely Margaret Horner. He married Ethel Ruth Nicholson, daughter of Captain William Henry Nicholson and Sibyl Wigham, on 15 March 1934.1 He died on 11 August 1941 at age 32, killed while on active service.1
     F/O John Lambton fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Flying Officer in the service of the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the service of the Coldstream Guards.1
