Sir Charles Norris Nicholson, 1st Bt. was born on 30 July 1857. He was the son of William Noris Nicholson. He married Amy Letitia Crosfield, daughter of George Crosfield and Isabella Ashworth, on 26 January 1882.1 He died on 28 November 1918 at age 61.

Donald Swinton Campbell, 2nd Baron Colgrain was born on 6 November 1891.3 He was the son of Colin Frederick Campbell, 1st Baron Colgrain and Lady Angela Mary Alice Ryder.2 He married Margaret Emily Carver, daughter of Percy William Carver, on 1 August 1917.4 He died on 20 October 1973 at age 81.4
