     Agnes Primrose is the daughter of James Primrose and Catherine Lawson.2 She married Alexander Menteth, son of Alexander Menteth of Salmonet and Rachel Sandilands, in 1638.1
     From 1638, her married name became Menteth.

     William Menteth of Caribber is the son of Alexander Menteth of Salmonet and Rachel Sandilands.2 He married, firstly, Christian Boyd, daughter of Robert Boyd.1 He married, secondly, Anne Elphinestone.1
     He lived at Caribber, Linlithgowshire, Scotland.1 He purchased Caribber in 1640.1

Sir Patrick Menteth1

     Sir Patrick Menteth was the son of Alexander Menteth of Salmonet and Rachel Sandilands.2 He died in 1675, killed.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Dumbarton's Regiment.1 He was appointed Knight by King Charles II.1 He fought in the Siege of Dachstein in 1675.1
