     Thomas Richard Peareth was baptised on 21 March 1848 at Folkestone, Kent, England.2 He was the son of William Peareth and Catherine Hodges.3,2 He married Florence Beatrice Trevelyan, daughter of John Trevelyan and Jane Caroline Adams Astley.1 He married Caroline Cornell in 1877 at London, England.2 He died on 13 August 1878 at age 30.1
     He gained the rank of Cornet in the 12th Lancers, although he held the commission for two years before selling it again.1,4 He lived at Usworth, Thorpe Mandeville, Northamptonshire, England.1
