     Sir Seymour Biscoe Tritton was born on 30 July 1860.1 He was the son of Frederick Biscoe Tritton and Selina Charlotte Maryatt.2 He married Alice May Jullion, daughter of Louis Jullion, on 14 June 1888.1 He died on 21 November 1937 at age 77.1
     He was educated Haileybury and UCL.1 He was MInstCE, MIMechE, MINA, MILocoE, ptnr Rendel, Palmer and Tritton, consulting engrs to Government of India.1 Sir.1 He was Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1918.1

     He was Royal Engineers WW I, Pres: Institution of Locomotive and 1951, FIDIC 1958–63, Chm Assoc Consulting Engrs 1953 and 1955, MICE, MIMechE, PPILocoE, MConsE Engrs 1947.1 He was educated Rugby and King's College London.1
