     Lt.-Col. Hon. Henry Anthony Camillo Howard was born on 3 March 1913.1 He was the son of Esme William Howard, 1st Baron Howard of Penrith and Lady Isabella Giovanna Teresa Gioachina Giustiniani-Bandini.1 He married Adèle Le Bourgeois Alsop, daughter of Reese Denny Alsop, on 11 September 1937.1 He died on 15 October 1977 at age 64.1
     He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1935 in the King's African Rifles.1 He fought in the Second World War, and was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Coldstream Guards.1 He was Administrator of St. Kitts, Nevis and Anguilla.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1960.1 He held the office of Governor of the British Virgin Islands.
