     He was educated at Stonyhurst College, Blackburn, Lancashire, England.1

     Mary Dorothy Moore was the daughter of Bernard Moore.1 She married Oswald Joseph Stanislaus Vavasour, son of Oswald Hugh Stanislaus Vavasour and Sarah Anne Smith, on 24 June 1915.1 She died on 25 August 1952.1
     Her married name became Vavasour.

     He was educated at Stonyhurst College, Blackburn, Lancashire, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artillery.1 He fought in the Second World War.1

     Sir Eric Michael Joseph Marmaduke Vavasour, 6th Bt. was born on 3 January 1953.2 He is the son of Captain Hugh Bernard Moore Vavasour and Monique Pauline Marie Madeleine Beck.1 He married Isabelle Baudoin Françoise Alain Cécile Cornelie Ghislaine van Hille, daughter of André van Hille, in 1976.1
     He was educated at St. Joseph's College, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England.2 He graduated from Manchester University, Manchester, Lancashire, England, with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)2 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Vavasour, of Hazlewood, co. York. [U.K., 1828] on 28 July 1997.2 He was registered as a AMIEE.2 He lived in 2003 at 15 Mill Lane, Earl Shilton, Leicestershire, England.2

     He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Pilot Officer in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.1
