     William Williams was the son of William Williams and Dorothy Griffith.2 He married, firstly, Agnes Wynn, daughter of John Wynn ap Meredith.1 He married, secondly, Barbara Lumley, daughter of George Lumley and Jane Knightley, circa 1569.1 He died in February 1612.1
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Montgomeryshire in 1569.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Caernarvonshire in 1571.3 He held the office of High Sheriff of Caernarvonshire in 1592.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Montgomeryshire in 1596.1 He lived at Cochwillan, Llanllechid, Caernarvonshire, Wales.1

     George Lumley was the son of John Lumley, 4th Lord Lumley and Joan le Scrope.1 He married Jane Knightley, daughter of Sir Richard Knightley.1 He died on 2 June 1537, beheaded.1
     In January 1536/37 he was attainted for treason following his participation in the second outbreak of North-Country opposition to the Dissolution of the Monasteries.1
