He married, firstly, Alathea Pauline Mary Alys Langdale, daughter of Colonel Philip Joseph Langdale and Gertrude Lysley Derriman, on 18 April 1923. He and Alathea Pauline Mary Alys Langdale were divorced in 1936. He married, secondly, Leila Joan Reynolds, daughter of Major Philip Guy Reynolds, on 1 June 1938. He died in 1968.

Leila Joan Reynolds was the daughter of Major Philip Guy Reynolds.1 She married John Dane Player.1 She married George Miles Watson, 2nd Baron Manton on 1 June 1938. She married, thirdly, Sir Peregrine Francis Adelbert Cust, 6th Baron Brownlow of Belton, son of Sir Adelbert Salusbury Cockayne Cust, 5th Baron Brownlow of Belton and Maud Buckle, on 14 May 1969.1 She died on 5 May 1983.2
Her married name became Player.1 From 1 June 1938, her married name became Watson. As a result of her marriage, Leila Joan Reynolds was styled as Baroness Brownlow of Belton on 14 May 1969. From 14 May 1969, her married name became Cust.1
