     Captain Marmaduke William Joseph Stourton was born on 14 January 1840. He was the son of William Joseph Stourton and Catherine Alicia Scully. He married Mary Franks, daughter of William Franks, on 7 January 1870. He died on 18 April 1879 at age 39 at Natal, South Africa.
