     James Young is the son of Reverend John Young and Elspa Douglas.2
     He also had several daughters and eight younger sons.1 He lived at County Donegal, Ireland.1 From 1688 to 1689 he defended Derry in siege by the Jacobites.1 In May 1689 he was attainted by King James II's Iirish Parliament.1

     He lived at Coolkeiragh, County Londonderry, Ireland.1 He also had a daughter.1

Thomas Young1

     Thomas Young is the son of John Young and Catherine Knox.2 He married Rebecca Singleton, daughter of Oliver Singleton and unknown daughter Anketell, in 1740/41.1
     He also had four daughters.1 He lived at Lough Esk, County Donegal, Ireland.1 Circa 1721 he inherited Lough Esk from his uncle Thomas Knox.1
