     Albert Stewart Winthrop Young was born on 16 March 1842.1 He was the son of Captain Sir George Young, 2nd Bt. and Susan Mackworth-Praed.2 He died in February 1918 at age 75, unmarried.1
     He was Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve Officers' Decoration (V.D.)1 Rev.1 He graduated with a King's College Cambridge Master of Arts (M.A.) and Fell).1 He was Vicar Kingston-on-Thames , Reserve Decoration (R.D.) 1887–1909, Chaplain 6th Battalion E Surrey Regiment in 1877.1

     Geoffrey Winthrop Young was born on 25 October 1876.1 He was the son of Sir George Young, 3rd Bt. and Alice Eacy Kennedy.2 He married Eleanor Slingsby, daughter of William Cecil Slingsby, on 25 April 1918.1 He died on 6 September 1958 at age 81.1
     Cncl 1944 pres: Alpine Club, Gordonstoun Govt, Outward Bound Mountain Sch, Br Mountaineering –47, author Mountain Craft, On High Hills, etc.1 He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He was Honour D Litt Durham, Fellow, Royal Society of Literature (F.R.S.L.)1 He graduated in 1898 with a Marlborough and Trin College Cambridge Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) , Master of Arts (M.A.) 1902).1 He was Officer ic Br Aux Units Flanders and Italy 1915–18 (despatches, severely wounded), Chev Legion Hon, Orders Leopold Belgium and Crown Italy, Croix de Guerre Belgium and Italy, Italian Silver Medal for Valour (twice), assist master Eton, lecturer co in 1914.1
