William Henry Spencer was born on 12 April 1810.1 He was the son of Francis Almeric Spencer, 1st Baron Churchill of Whichwood and Lady Frances Fitzroy.1 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Rose Thornhill, daughter of Thomas Thornhill, on 23 January 1838.1 He married, secondly, Louisa Mercer Call, daughter of Sir William Pratt Call, 2nd Bt. and Lady Louisa Georgiana Forbes, on 15 June 1852.2 He married, thirdly, Anna Maria Cowley Sheppard, daughter of John Horton Sheppard, in 1893.2 He died on 21 August 1900 at age 90.1
