     Myles Thoroton Hildyard was born on 31 December 1914.1 He was the son of Gerald Moresby Thoroton Hildyard and Sybil Hamilton Hoare.1 He died on 13 August 2005 at age 90 at Flintham, Nottinghamshire, England.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Nottinghamshire Yeomanry.1 He fought in the Second World War, he was mentioned in despatches twice.1 He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn in 1945 entitled to practise as a barrister-at-law.1 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.) in 1950.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Nottinghamshire in 1954.1

     From 6 February 1936, her married name became Hanbury.1
