     Colonel Edward Merry Larminie married Laura Frances Pollock, daughter of Sir Frederick Pollock, 1st Bt. and Sarah Anne Amowah Langslow, on 8 November 1878.1 He died in 1905.1
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Engineers.1
