     Mary Letitia McCreight is the daughter of Reverend James McCreight.2 She married Reverend Francis Henry Hall, son of James Hall and Anne Cockerell Moubray, on 27 March 1849.1

Brig.-Gen. Francis Henry Hall1

     Brig.-Gen. Francis Henry Hall was born on 21 March 1852.1 He was the son of Reverend Francis Henry Hall and Mary Letitia McCreight.2 He died on 19 November 1919 at age 67.1
     He fought in the Afghan War between 1878 and 1880, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1900, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1900.1 He was i/c admin of the Malta between 1906 and 1907.1 He was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.) in 1907.1 He was of the Scottish Command between 1908 and 1909.1 He retired from the military in 1909, with the rank of Brigadier-General.1

     William Thomas Hall was born on 18 November 1855.1 He was the son of Reverend Francis Henry Hall and Mary Letitia McCreight.2 He married, firstly, Jeanne Josephine Bridges, daughter of John Bridges, in 1883.1 He married, secondly, Anna Caroline Elizabeth Hay, daughter of Peter Hay, in 1887.1 He died on 3 May 1938 at age 82.1
     He was educated at Rossall School, Fleetwood, Lancashire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Kingstown School, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)1 He was Assistant Commissioner of Burma in 1878.1 He was in the Indian Civil Service between 1878 and 1907.1 He was Settlement Officer, Burma between 1884 and 1886.1 He was Director of Land Records & Agriculture between 1887 and 1890.1 He was President of Rangoon Municipality between 1894 and 1896.1 He held the office of Member of the Legislative Council (M.L.C.) [Burma] in 1902.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Star of India (C.S.I.) in 1904.1 He was additional member of the Council of Governor-General of India between 1905 and 1907.1
