     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Down.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Down.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Down in 1926.1 He lived at Narrow Water, County Down, Ireland.1

     Penelope Mary Caroline Wyatt was the daughter of Rev. Canon William Wyatt.1 She married Reverend Henry Arthur Charles Herbert, son of Gustavus Wybrants Herbert and Annie Catherine Herbert, on 15 August 1907.1 She died on 22 December 1948.1
     From 15 August 1907, her married name became Herbert.1

     He was Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 DCLI.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry.3 Wellington.1 He lived Broadleigh.1 On 4 October 1917 Somerset. He was d killed in action.1

     He was educated at Ampleforth College, Ampleforth, Yorkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant between 1952 and 1956 in the Irish Guards.1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1967 in the Irish Guards Army Cadet Force.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Down in 1974.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Down in 1975.1 He lived in 1976 at Castle Espie House, Comber, County Down, Ireland.1 He was Director and Partner of John McKenna & Sons Ltd, wine and spirit merchants.1
