     Muriel Elsie Hughes was the daughter of Sir Alfred Collingwood Hughes, 10th Bt. and Elsie Johansson.2 She married Admiral Sir William Frederic Wake-Walker, son of Frederic George Arthur Wake-Walker and Mary Eleanor Forster, on 19 January 1916.1 She died on 28 November 1963.1
     Her married name became Wake-Walker. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Suffolk in 1947.1 She held the office of Member of the Suffolk County Council in 1958.1

Sir Alfred Collingwood Hughes, 10th Bt.

     Sir Alfred Collingwood Hughes, 10th Bt. was born on 12 May 1854.1 He was the son of Sir Alfred Hughes, 9th Bt. and Maria Smith.2 He married Elsie Johansson, daughter of John Johansson, on 30 December 1880.1 He died on 9 December 1932 at age 78.1
     Sir Alfred Collingwood Hughes, 10th Bt. usually went by his middle name of Collingwood.1 He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Hughes, of East Bergholt, co. Suffolk [G.B., 1773] on 1 April 1898.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Suffolk.1 He fought in the First World War, and was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Major in the 4th Battalion, Suffolk Volunteer Regiment.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Suffolk in 1923.1

     Elsie Johansson was the daughter of John Johansson.2 She married Sir Alfred Collingwood Hughes, 10th Bt., son of Sir Alfred Hughes, 9th Bt. and Maria Smith, on 30 December 1880.1 She died on 25 December 1932.1
     From 30 December 1880, her married name became Hughes.

     Her married name became Wake-Walker.

Admiral Sir Baldwin Wake-Walker, 1st Bt.

     Admiral Sir Baldwin Wake-Walker, 1st Bt. was born on 6 January 1802.1 He is the son of John Walker and Frances Wake.2 He married Mary Catherine Sinclair Worth, daughter of Captain John Worth and Catherine Sinclair, on 9 September 1834.1 He died in 1876.1
     He held the office of Comptroller of the Royal Navy between 1847 and 1860.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)1 He was created 1st Baronet Wake-Walker, of Oakley House, co. Suffolk [U.K.] on 19 July 1856.1 He gained the rank of Admiral in the Turkish Service.1 He was commander of the Cape of Good Hope Station between 1860 and 1864.1 He was hereditary Pasha of the Ottoman Empire.1

     Captain John Worth married Catherine Sinclair, daughter of Captain Patrick Sinclair and Anne Sutherland, on 10 August 1802 at St. Paul's Church, Covent Gardens, London, EnglandG.1 He died on 27 April 1835.
     He lived at Oakley, Suffolk, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1
