     Matthew Fortescue was born on 3 September 1791.1 He was the son of Matthew Fortescue and Mary-Anne McClintock.2 He married Catherine Eglantine Blair, daughter of Colonel William Blair of Blair, in 1811.1 He died on 22 January 1845 at age 53.1
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Louth.1 He lived at Stephenstown, County Louth, Ireland.1

     Anna Maria Fortescue was the daughter of Matthew Fortescue and Mary-Anne McClintock.2 She married Sir George Forster, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Thomas Forster, 1st Bt., in 1817.1 She died on 2 May 1848.1
     From 1817, her married name became Forster.

     Sir George Forster, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir Thomas Forster, 1st Bt. He married Anna Maria Fortescue, daughter of Matthew Fortescue and Mary-Anne McClintock, in 1817.1 He died on 4 April 1876.
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)1 He lived at Coolderry, County Monaghan, Ireland.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Forster [I., 1794].1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1

     Lt.-Col. John Charles William Fortescue was born on 17 April 1822.1 He was the son of Matthew Fortescue and Catherine Eglantine Blair.2 He married Geraldine Olivia Mary Anne Pare, daughter of Reverend Frederick H. Pare and Hon. Geraldine FitzGerald-de Ros, in 1857.1 He died in 1891, without issue.1
     He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, London, England.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Louth in 1861.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Louth.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Louth.1 He held the office of Vice-Lieutenant of County Louth between 1868 and 1879.1 He lived at Stephenstown, County Louth, Ireland.1 He lived at Corderry, County Louth, Ireland.1

Major Frederick Richard Norman Fortescue1

     Major Frederick Richard Norman Fortescue was born on 11 July 1823.1 He was the son of Matthew Fortescue and Catherine Eglantine Blair.2 He married Maria Jane Garstin, daughter of General unknown Garstin, on 6 November 1860.1 He died on 14 September 1867 at age 44.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the Bengal Staff Corps.1
