     Kathleen Harvey was the daughter of Francis Eugene Harvey and Frances Elizabeth Pollock.2 She married, firstly, Thomas Manning on 21 February 1885.1 She married, secondly, John Allsebrook Simon, 1st Viscount Simon, son of Reverend Edwin Simon and Fanny Allsebrook, on 18 December 1917.1 She died on 27 March 1955.1
     From 21 February 1885, her married name became Manning. From 18 December 1917, her married name became Simon.1 She was appointed Dame of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (D.G.St.J.)1 She was appointed Dame Commander, Order of the British Empire (D.B.E.) in 1933.1 After her marriage, Kathleen Harvey was styled as Viscountess Simon on 20 May 1940.
