     Alice Devin Atalanta Clifford was born on 10 May 1932.1 She is the daughter of Hon. Sir Bede Edmund Hugh Clifford and Alice Devin Gundry.2 She married, firstly, Richard Fairey, son of Sir Charles Richard Fairey and Henrietta Queenie Nicholson Markey, on 10 September 1955.1 She married, secondly, W/Cdr. Timothy Ashmead Vigors, son of Captain Ludlow Ashmead Cliffe Vigors, on 31 October 1963.1 She and W/Cdr. Timothy Ashmead Vigors were divorced.1 She married, thirdly, Michael Henry Dennis Madden in 1972.1
     She was also known as Atalanta.1 From 10 September 1955, her married name became Fairey. From 31 October 1963, her married name became Vigors. From 1973, her married name became Madden. Her name was legally changed to Clifford.

     Richard Fairey was the son of Sir Charles Richard Fairey and Henrietta Queenie Nicholson Markey.2,3 He married Alice Devin Atalanta Clifford, daughter of Hon. Sir Bede Edmund Hugh Clifford and Alice Devin Gundry, on 10 September 1955.1 He died on 27 July 1960.1

     Sir Charles Richard Fairey was born in 1887.2 He married, firstly, Henrietta Queenie Nicholson Markey in 1915 at London, England.3 He and Henrietta Queenie Nicholson Markey were divorced.3 He married, secondly, Esther Sarah Whitmey, daughter of Stephen Francis Whitmey and Mary Tapley Pardon, in 1934.2,3 He died in 1956.2
     He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)1 He was founder and excutive chairman of Fairey Aviation Company Ltd.2 Sir Charles Richard Fairey usually went by his middle name of Richard.1 He lived at Bossington House, Houghton, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He was director-general of the British Air Commission between 1942 and 1945 at Washington, D.C., U.S.A.2

     Leanda Alice Devin Joan Fairey was born on 8 September 1957.1 She is the daughter of Richard Fairey and Alice Devin Atalanta Clifford.2 She married Timothy Walter Laurence von Halle. She married, firstly, Angus G. T. Gibson in 1980.3 She married, secondly, Charles I. Crosthwaite in 1986.3 She and Charles I. Crosthwaite were divorced in 1996.3
     Her married name became Halle. From 1980, her married name became Gibson.3 From 1986, her married name became Crosthwaite.3

     William Hugh Clifford, 10th Baron Clifford of Chudleigh was born on 17 December 1858.1 He was the son of Charles Hugh Clifford, 8th Baron Clifford of Chudleigh and Hon. Agnes Catherine Louisa Petre.2 He married, firstly, Catherine Mary Bassett, daughter of R. Bassett, in 1886.1 He married, secondly, Grace Muriel St. Clair-Munro, daughter of W. St. Clair-Munro, on 29 May 1943.1 He died on 5 July 1943 at age 84.1
     He was appointed Fellow, Zoological Society (F.Z.S.)1 He was appointed Fellow, Geological Society (F.G.S.)1 He succeeded as the 10th Baron Clifford of Chudleigh, co. Devon [E., 1672] on 19 July 1916.1

     Catherine Mary Bassett was the daughter of R. Bassett.2 She married William Hugh Clifford, 10th Baron Clifford of Chudleigh, son of Charles Hugh Clifford, 8th Baron Clifford of Chudleigh and Hon. Agnes Catherine Louisa Petre, in 1886.1 She died in March 1943.1
     Her married name became Clifford. After her marriage, Catherine Mary Bassett was styled as Baroness Clifford of Chudleigh on 19 July 1916.

     Charles Oswald Hugh Clifford, 11th Baron Clifford of Chudleigh was born on 24 April 1887.1 He was the son of William Hugh Clifford, 10th Baron Clifford of Chudleigh and Catherine Mary Bassett.2 He married, firstly, Dorothy Gandolfi-Hornyold, daughter of Alfred Joseph Gandolfi-Hornyold and Alice de la Chere, on 6 November 1917.1 He married, secondly, Clare Mary Mayne, daughter of Captain Jasper Graham Mayne and Cecily Mary Agnes Weld, on 3 January 1940.1 He died on 1 February 1962 at age 74, without male issue.1
     He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 5th Battalion, Devon Regiment (Territorial Army.)1 He gained the rank of Sub-Lieutenant in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.1 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1918.1 He succeeded as the 11th Baron Clifford of Chudleigh, co. Devon [E., 1672] on 5 July 1943.1

     Lewis Joseph Hugh Clifford, 12th Baron Clifford of Chudleigh was born on 7 February 1889.1 He was the son of William Hugh Clifford, 10th Baron Clifford of Chudleigh and Catherine Mary Bassett.2 He married, secondly, Mary Elizabeth Knox, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Adrian Knox, on 14 December 1934.1 He married, firstly, Amy Webster, daughter of John Arthur Webster, in 1914.1 He died on 27 August 1964 at age 75.2
     He succeeded as the 12th Baron Clifford of Chudleigh, co. Devon [E., 1672] on 1 February 1962.1

     Grace Muriel St. Clair-Munro was the daughter of W. St. Clair-Munro.1 She married William Hugh Clifford, 10th Baron Clifford of Chudleigh, son of Charles Hugh Clifford, 8th Baron Clifford of Chudleigh and Hon. Agnes Catherine Louisa Petre, on 29 May 1943.1 She died on 18 February 1963.1
     After her marriage, Grace Muriel St. Clair-Munro was styled as Baroness Clifford of Chudleigh on 29 May 1943. From 29 May 1943, her married name became Clifford.
