     William Crosbie, 1st Earl of Glandore was the son of Sir Maurice Crosbie, 1st Baron Branden and Lady Elizabeth Anne FitzMaurice.2,3 He died on 11 April 1781.3
     William Crosbie, 1st Earl of Glandore succeeded to the title of 2nd Baron Branden, co. Kerry [I., 1758] on 13 January 1762.3 He was created 1st Viscount Crosbie of Ardfert, co. Kerry [Ireland] on 30 November 1771.3 He succeeded to the title of 1st Earl of Glandore [Ireland] on 22 July 1776.3
