D. S. Cemetery, Belgium.3
     He fought in the First World War, he was mentioned in despatches four times.3 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)3 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Irish Fusiliers.3 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)3
