     Captain Edward Allen Smeathman Hatton was the son of J. L. S. Hatton.2 He married Olga Lucia Yates, daughter of Walter Peel Yates, before 1915.1 He died on 29 April 1915 at Gallipoli, Turkey, killed in action.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Marine Light Infantry.1 He fought in the Gallipoli Campaign.2
