     Sir Thomas Arthur Cavendish Spring was born on 12 May 1822.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. William Collis Spring and Hon. Catherine Cavendish.1,2 He married Emily Davenly, daughter of Charles Davenly and Hon. Fanny Emma Arden, in 1846.1 He died on 1 September 1905 at age 83.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He was commissioned in 1842, in the service of the 5th (Princess Charlotte of Wales's) Dragoon Guards.1 He fought in the Crimean War.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1872.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.).1 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the Indian Empire (K.C.I.E.) in 1884.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Imperial Yeomanry.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Tipperary in 1890.1

     Charles Davenly was born in 1791.2 He was the son of Major Augustus Davenly and Lady Harriet Belasyse.2 He married Hon. Fanny Emma Arden, daughter of Richard Pepper Arden, 1st Baron Alvanley and Anne Dorothea Wilbraham-Bootle, in 1817.2 He died in 1861.2
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Suffolk.2

     Lt.-Col. William Collis Spring was born in 1769.1 He was the son of Captain John Spring and Mary Blennerhassett Collis.1,2 He married, firstly, Anne Carter, daughter of Joseph Chilton Carter.1 He married, secondly, Hon. Catherine Cavendish, daughter of Richard Cavendish, 2nd Baron Waterpark and Juliana Cooper, on 3 July 1821.2 He died in 1839.1
     He gained the rank of Ensign in the service of the 48th (Northamptonshire) Regiment.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1793.1 He fought in the Battle of Albuera on 16 May 1811.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel on 4 June 1813.1 He was Commanding Officer of the 1st Battaion, 57th Foot in 1815.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Kerry.2
