     Charles Stewart, 6th of Ballechin was born circa 1661 at Ballechin, Logierait, Perthshire, Scotland.1 He was the son of Patrick Stewart, 5th of Ballechin and Elizabeth Lindsay.1 He married Anne Dow of Arnhall, daughter of John Dow of Arnhall, after July 1678.1 He died in 1733.1
