     Sir Thomas Munro of Lindertis, 2nd Bt. was born on 30 May 1819.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Sir Thomas Munro of Lindertis, 1st Bt. and Jane Campbell.1 He died on 28 October 1901 at age 82, unmarried.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Munro, of Lindertis, co. Forfar [U.K., 1825] on 6 July 1827.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Forfarshire.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 10th Hussars.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) for Forfarshire.1
