     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Munro, of Lindertis, co. Forfar [U.K., 1825] on 6 July 1827.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Forfarshire.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 10th Hussars.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Forfarshire.1
