     Philip Henry Egerton was born on 9 August 1824.2 He was the son of William Egerton and Sibella Boswell.3 He married, firstly, Mary Marjoribanks, daughter of Sir William Marjoribanks, 2nd Bt., on 15 July 1857.2 He married, secondly, Maria Louisa Cullen Campbell, daughter of Colonel Alexander Campbell, on 20 October 1886 at Christ Church, Paddington, London, England.4 He married, thirdly, Maud Mary Wedderburn Clarke-Jervoise, daughter of Samuel Clarke-Jervoise, on 3 September 1890.2 He died on 17 January 1893 at age 68.2
     He was in the Indian Civil Service.2 He lived at Gladwyn, Wrexham, Denbighshire, Wales.4
