     Benedikta Gräfin Vitzthum von Eckstaedt was born on 4 January 1913 at Weimar, Germany.1 She was the daughter of Hermann Graf Vitzthum von Eckstaedt and Hedwig Gräfin von Bernstorff.1 She married Carl-Alexander Graf von Klinckowstroem, son of Wilhelm Karl Ludwig Friedrich Graf von Klinckowstroem and Elisabeth Gräfin von Kanitz, on 30 December 1950 at Mittenwald, Germany.1 She and Carl-Alexander Graf von Klinckowstroem were divorced on 13 June 1951 at Frankfurt-am-Main, Hessen, Germany.1 She died on 11 August 1979 at age 66 at Freiburg-im-Breisgau, Germany.1
     From 30 December 1950, her married name became von Klinckowstroem.1
