     Arthur William Macarthur-Onslow was born on 27 May 1877.1 He was the son of Captain Arthur Alexander Walton Onslow and Elizabeth Macarthur.1 He married Cristabel Emily Sarah Beech, daughter of Colonel Rowland John Beech, on 20 June 1911.1 He died on 5 November 1914 at age 37 at Ypres, Belgium, killed in action.1
     He was given the name of Arthur William Onslow at birth.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 16th lancers.1 He fought in the First World War.1
