     William Somerset Ward was born on 20 March 1839.1 He was the son of Reverend Hon. Henry Ward and Anne Mahon.1 He married Mary Augusta Gordon, daughter of Reverend John Gordon, on 7 January 1879.1 He died on 28 June 1919 at age 80.1
     William Somerset Ward was a marine surveyor.1

     Isabel Barclay of Towie was the daughter of Sir Alexander Barclay of Towie, 1st Bt. and Helen Duff.2,1 She married Hon. Charles Barclay-Maitland of Tillicoultrie, son of Charles Maitland, 6th Earl of Lauderdale and Lady Elizabeth Ogilvy.2 She died on 23 October 1791 at Tillicoultrie, Scotland.1
     On 2 February 1747 she was served heir to her sister, Jean.1
