     Sir Robert Peel, 6th Bt. was born on 17 December 1920.1 He was the son of Sir Robert Peel, 5th Bt. and Beatrice Gladys Lillie.1 He died on 5 April 1942 at age 21 at Colombo, Sri Lanka, killed in action when H.M.S. Tenedos was bombed in Colombo Harbour.1
     He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Peel [G.B., 1800] on 6 April 1934.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Ordinary Seaman in the Royal Navy.1
