     Desmond FitzJohn Lloyd FitzGerald, 27th Knight of Glin was born on 12 March 1862.3 He was the son of Desmond John Edmund FitzGerald, 26th Knight of Glin and Isabella Lloyd Apjohn.2 He married Lady Rachael Charlotte Wyndham-Quin, daughter of Windham Thomas Wyndham-Quin, 4th Earl of Dunraven and Mount-Earl and Florence Elizabeth Kerr, on 28 October 1897.1 He died on 17 September 1936 at age 74.1
