     Ebenezer John Collett was born on 22 May 1755.¹ He was the son of Joseph Collett and Sarah Smith.¹ He married Margaret Alsager, daughter of Thomas Alsager and Mary Crosby, on 16 June 1795.¹ He died on 31 October 1833 at age 78.¹
     He lived at Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, England.¹

     Margaret Alsager was born on 5 August 1773.² She was the daughter of Thomas Alsager and Mary Crosby.² She was baptised on 16 March 1774 at St. Mary, Southwark Newington, London, England.² She married Ebenezer John Collett, son of Joseph Collett and Sarah Smith, on 16 June 1795.¹ She died on 7 March 1826 at age 52 at Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, England.²
     From 16 June 1795, her married name became Collett.¹

     Alsager Hay Hill was born on 1 October 1839 at Gressonhall Hall, Norfolk, England.¹ He was the son of John David Hay Hill and Margaret Collett.¹ He died on 2 August 1906 at age 66, unmarried.¹
     He was a social reformer.¹
