     Margaret Alsager was born on 5 August 1773.2 She was the daughter of Thomas Alsager and Mary Crosby.2 She was baptised on 16 March 1774 at St. Mary, Southwark Newington, London, England.2 She married Ebenezer John Collett, son of Joseph Collett and Sarah Smith, on 16 June 1795.1 She died on 7 March 1826 at age 52 at Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, England.2
     From 16 June 1795, her married name became Collett.1
