     Captain Henry de Teissier, 5th Baron de Teissier was born in 1862 at Bengal, India.2 He was the son of General Henry Price de Teissier, 4th Baron de Teissier and Mary Shirley Miller.2 He married Agneta Mary Ballantine-Dykes, daughter of Frecheville Lawson Ballantine-Dykes, in 1887.1
     He fought in the Nile Expedition in 1884.2 He fought in the Suakim Expedition in 1885.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the 8th Hussars.2 He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1901.2 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1918.2
